Curriculum

We follows CBSE curriculum. We are accordance with the norms set by CBSE, but we do have our own set of rules and standards which are held high in order to achieve quality education.

EXAM PATTERN
Under article 22 of the Education Act, schools are obliged to "regularly evaluate students and periodically report the results of the evaluation to the students and their parents".
Continuous evaluation helps us to keep, better standards of learning, highlight problem areas and increase the level of retention in learners.

We adopt 4 different type of assessment:

1.  AMT ( Weekly)
2.  Periodic Test ( Monthly)
3.  Term Exam ( Term Exam 1 is being conducted in the month of August and Term Exam 2 is in February).
4.  Half yearly Exam and Year Ending Exam.

Booklets are provided to the learners for writing exams to ensure legibility.
Digital report card is being sent to parents via Whats App or parents can log in to the oxford.
'My Kid' App which provides a detailed version of the same. 
Remedial teaching is being provided to the learners after each exam. 

 

TBI - Kindergarten

TBI has aligned the curriculum research for each of our learning areas with learning themes such as cognitive development, mechanics and current affairs. These offerings by TBI are designed to develop a well-rounded preschool education. The core learning areas are reinforced with Montessori in a prepared environment, fun activities and an outcome based learning structure.
A primary goal at the heart of the TBI mission is the enhancement of child learning opportunities and outcomes.

I-IV

We ensure that all children are provided with learning opportunities that recognize and celebrate their uniqueness and develop their full potential. Our curriculum emphasizes the need of different types of learners by including a wide variety of teaching methodologies and learning experiences. We have accomplished the curriculum of oxford advantage for grade I-IV as it provides a complete learning experience.

V-VIII

The curriculum is purely based on the CBSE pattern and we follow NCERT text books.
Special personal care is provided to each learner to help them excel in all areas-scholastic as well as Co-scholastic. 
Academic Monitoring Test (AMT) is conducted every week, which has been planed meticulously allotting each subject a particular day . The learners being well- versed with the schedule develop the habit of systematic and up-to-date learning. Apart from this, periodic Tests, Term Examinations, Half Yearly and Year End Examinations are also carried out at the required time. 
The results of these tests are properly analyzed and correct feedback and required support is provided for each student so as to either keep up the standard or to come up to the required level. The complete performance charts are communicated to the parents enabling them to get an idea about the scholastic growth of the child. 
Learners are given ample opportunities not only to come up in academics, but also in other areas like public speaking, organizing and co-coordinating programmers etc being a very few to name.
